Evolutions (alphabetical list)

Agile Mobility / speed.
Alpha Related to Alphas.
Antennae Passive.
Antlers Attack; causes **self-damage**. Be careful in glass cannon builds.
Beak Attack; uses **Ability Damage**.
Body Slam Damage based on **HP** (not size). Attack area.
Carapace Visual; doesn't show if you have Shell.
Carnivore EXP bonus on meat; **does not** affect fish.
Carrion Bonus on food you didn't hunt (fish, meat).
Cheek Pouch Stores food in your cheeks; consumes at the same rate. Essential in flee/Pacifist runs.
Chonky Size / tank.
Claws Attack; can appear visually on tentacles.
Constriction Holds you and the target, deals [PD] per second; can cancel with dash or using it again.
Cortex Passive.
Courting Ultimate: charms an enemy to fight for you; can command target. Area of effect shown.
Diurnal Day-related.
Detachable Tail Tail that detaches; **does not** trigger on self-damage (e.g. Antlers).
Dexterous Accuracy / attack.
Elusive Unlocks an option at a POI.
Exoskeleton Specialisation; crab icon; numeric bonuses (e.g. +1.7 speed mentioned in teaser).
Forager Food / progress.
Fungoid Food / fungi.
Fur Visual; **bans** with Scales in some versions.
Hollow Bones Damage penalty in exchange for mobility.
Herbivore Bonus on plant food.
Horns Attack; **Physical Damage**. Can hit trees to reduce time for food to drop.
Hump HP; cited as "super useful" (e.g. 249 HP on D2).
Jaws Attack; cooldown reduced in patches.
Leap Jumps over enemies and obstacles, avoiding impact.
Leech Healing; "terrifyingly cute" visual.
More Eyes Detection / Senses.
More Legs Movement.
More Mass Size / tank.
Muscular Tissue Damage / strength.
Nocturnal Night-related.
Nomad Movement / POIs; pairs with Pioneer.
Omnivore Less picked in PP2 stats but ~79% pick rate when **offered**.
Outlier Gain a **random legendary evolution**. RNG.
Overwhelm Increases attack damage equal to your current **Plating**. Great with Plating build.
Pack Increases Health Regen per [Charmed] enemy; charmed get % of your Health Regen.
Piscivore Bonus on **fish food**.
Pincer Attack; **Physical**; very strong with **Smol** build (double hit). Bans with Toe Beans in recent versions.
Pistol Pincer High damage based on **higher** of PD and AD; visual; moved to Trickster affinity.
Plated Plating (armour).
Poisonous Saliva Poison; poisonous Spit has different visual.
Prehensile Tail Tail.
Reach Range.
Regenerative Tissue Healing / regen.
Revenge Retaliation when taking damage.
Robust Max HP multiplied by [Size]; negative size does **not** reduce HP.
Ruminant Every X seconds, gain Progress based on Prey affinity; goes on cooldown when hit. Buffed with Herbivore/Vegan in patches.
Saliva Food / progress; one of the most picked in PP2.
Scales Visual; **bans** with Fur in some versions. Specialisation with variants (e.g. "sun" / "moon").
Sharpen Increases [Contact] attack damage; scales with Predator Affinity.
Shell Visual; doesn't show Hump or Carapace if you have Shell.
Shifty Negative size increases **dodge** chance proportionally.
Slide Movement; own VFX.
Slow Metabolism Reduces speed, reduces progress needed to level up; 75% cap.
Smol Small size; unlocks an option at a POI.
Spines Reflects part of damage taken; no longer bans Fur in recent versions.
Spit Ranged attack; **Ability Damage**.
Sprint Movement over time; good for kiting and keeping pace.
Spurs Triggers when another attack is used.
Stinger Poison; **AD**; good for spreading DOT.
Stomach Digestion / progress.
Stoner Projectile; scales with attack area; buffed in patches (damage, charge, speed).
Subcutaneous Fat Cited as very strong in hard runs.
Synapse Buffed in patches.
Tail Tail.
Tail Wag Periodically tries to charm enemies in area of effect; area shown.
Toe Beans [AD] attack with [Charm] chance; not affected by Bullseye in recent versions.
Turtle Down Becomes [Protected] for a time; can't attack; uses dash slot.
Vegan Bonus on vegan diet; bans Piscivore; bans Carrion in recent versions.
Whining PP2 evolution; long tooltips.
Wings Visual; type may depend on hidden criteria when unlocking "wings lvl 1".

**Arms** Unlocks Pincers line and arm attacks.
**Legs** Movement; "legs" visual in line with key art.
**Ruminant** Progress from Prey; cooldown when hit.
**Slithery** Snake body; "Snake build" cited as strong.
**Tentacles** Arms/tentacles; Pincers/Claws can appear on tentacles.
**Wings** Visual and possible movement/sound effect.
**Pollinator** New in 0.10.1 (branching).

- Pincers + Smol — consistent double hit. - Plating + Overwhelm — more damage with more armour. - Courting / Tail Wag + Social — more charmed allies. - Ruminant + Prey + Pacifist / Sloth — passive progress; watch your speed. - Antlers — avoid in low-HP builds (self-damage). - Sprint — versatile for chase and escape. - Cheek Pouch + Carrion/Herbivore — strong in Pacifist / flee run.
