Early Game Guide

Scaling Over Surviving

To dominate the highest pressure levels in Everything is Crab, you must rethink your starting priorities. Most new players overinvest in raw damage and defense too early. Your primary focus on day one should be food economy and passive scaling.

The Napoleon Strategy

Never fight an enemy in an empty field. Always position fights next to food clusters so you can eat, heal, and gain XP while brawling. If you fight far from food, you lose valuable time.

The Reroll Trap

DNA strands are scarce early. Limit yourself to one reroll per level. Adapt to what you get instead of wasting your economy chasing a dream build.

Biome Discipline

Stay in the Grass biome early. Entering Snow, Desert, or Water without adaptations causes irreversible time loss (thermal damage, drag, etc.).

Quick Tips

  • Scale first: prioritize consumption speed and HP scaling.
  • Eat and fight: always fight near food.
  • Avoid time sinks: skip heavily armored enemies (e.g., turtles) on day one.
  • Stay in Grass: avoid hazardous biomes until resistances are secured.
  • Save DNA: never reroll more than once early.

Summary

In the early game, time is your most valuable resource. Choose traits that accelerate feeding and passive scaling. Save long fights for later.
